My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sammy was relinquished to rescue because his mom has a new job and she cannot spend the time with Sammy he requires - and deserves.

Sammy just turned a year old. He loves to be held and sleep in bed with you. He wags his tail constantly and just loves being with his human. He is puppy pad trained. Sammy has lived in an apartment and has never been outside. We are working on changing that!He is neutered, and UTD on shots. He will be microchipped prior to adoption.

He has not been around cats or children. We think he would be fine with a cat, if introduced slowly. Since he was an older woman's companion, he would be overwhelmed in a home with lots of noise and commotion. He enjoys playing with other small dogs. Sammy's perfect home is one that is quiet, one with NO children and a fenced yard, please. SAMMY IS IN EAST TENNESSEE IN FOSTER CARE AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED NORTH UPON ADOPTION.

Our dogs are transported via Alpha Dog Transport. They arrive in New England on Sat. a.m. at stops in PA, NJ, CT, VT, ME. They charge $140 for their services and also hand off the vet records when your pup is claimed. An adoption fee will be charged too.
