Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please Share … Adopt Newman the Deaf White Turkish Angora Cat
Newman is a handsome, cuddly, playful and sweet, three-year-old, 11-pound, deaf male Turkish Angora cat with brilliant blue eyes looking for a loving guardian.
Newman was found as a stray in Logan Square, he is anything but feral but his ear was tipped and his micro-chip was registered to Gage Park Feral Cats Program. He was dirty and rough-looking, but his rescuers have given him TLC and he is doing magnificently. Unfortunately, Newman is afraid of other animals, so he is looking for a home as the one and only pet.
Because Newman can’t hear, he relies on his other senses and it’s fun to watch him walking around and smelling everything. He is not a biter, but if you come up to him un-announced he will swipe in fear so he’s best in a home without young children. If you gently touch him to announce your presence, he’s happy to say hi.
Newman loves everyone, but he warms up to women faster than men. He loves using his scratching platform and has perfect litter box habits.
Newman is very healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, virus-tested and micro-chipped. To meet and possibly adopt Newman please contact his foster parents Toran at toranh1212@gmail.com or 262-844-8032 or Laura at leashpole@gmail.com or 262-424-1884.
His adoption fee of $50 benefits rescued pets. He is currently residing in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago.
