My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jilly is a three - four month old collie mix puppy. (Both ears are now standing up). Jilly is a beautiful color of golden red with white. She looks like a little fox. She is just a sweetheart. Jilly was rescued from a high kill shelter in Tennessee. Jilly is in a foster home with other pups and loves everyone. She is working on her potty skills. Jilly is ready for a HOME.

If you are interested in giving Jilly a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly (901-651-6322) with questions about the dogs or Angela (203-909-8861) anytime with questions about our adoption process.

Jilly's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the spaying, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), heartguard, frontline, vet examination, certificate of health and transport fee.

Jilly is living with a foster family in Tennessee. She will travel to her new home by professional pet transport once she has been adopted. We use a weekly pet transport to the northeast and a bi-weekly transport to the Chicago, Milwaukee and Minneapolis areas.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
