Rex's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Rex's Story...
Rex is a HANDSOME 16 week old possible boarder collie/pointer mix. He is almost completely housetrained and is VERY smart! He does well in his crate, walks well on a leash, and was made to love on kiddos! Rex is laid back and is happy to take the submissive role during playtime with other dogs. He loves affection without being clingy and will bury his head in your neck when you love on him! He is currently living with a toddler and he is doing beautifully with him! He is being fostered with his sister Luna and they would do great in a home together or just fine apart. They are practically twins!

Rex is being fostered in Huntsville, Alabama but is not picky about where he ends up as long as he is loved and an inside dog! He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and on heartworm prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rex, a Marietta Border Collie/German Shorthaired Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/German Shorthaired Pointer for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Border Collie/German Shorthaired Pointer puppy from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/German Shorthaired Pointer breeders who help with Border Collie/German Shorthaired Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
