By now you have been in awe viewing my cute pics...what more can I say?? I can't help it I was born with these good looks. My name is Sammy, yes a boy dog, and am about 9 or so years old. I grew up in S. Dakota and now am living in beautiful Colorado with a pack of two other pooches and two cats. They ALL just adore me...ever since I walked in the door. We all get along great...all sleep together...not one disagreement over food or sleeping arrangements...sleep, eat...what a life! Ever so often I will impress the cats with chasing my tail...they are mesmerized like they have never seen a beast do this trick of skill!
I do very well on my leash on our daily walks...and know exactly where my place is as we trundle down the sidewalks. My foster mom is shocked at me never once making a "mess" in the house. I know several words (she calls them commands)...such as "Eat, Walk, Outside, Toilet, Come, Stay, Sit, Back, Go".
At first my foster mom didn't think I knew how to talk because I didn't bark at all.
But I occasionally will bark one time when I come in from outside, just to say, "Thanks...I missed you so much when I was gone outside"...and will jump and turn circles to prove it! Ya, I am a people dog...love being around my foster people. I follow my foster mom everywhere she goes in the house. I even saw a squirrel today to dash after...but they are a lot faster than I am...so think I will stick with people!
Others really adore me too. The vet and vet techs I met for my teeth and checkup said I was great...so mellow! (And very healthy to boot!) The groomer was impressed with me too...I just stood there and let her do her magic...voila...check out the pics again, in case you forgot those gorgeous eyes of mine!
I am looking for a great forever home because I have lots of love and loyalty to give and just need a someone to be there for me in return...what more can one lovely, adorable, mellow, gorgeous eyed dog ask for in this life?
