Cosette is a beautiful girl who was adopted as a kitten, but unfortunately she was a shy girl and her new family did not know how to help her come out of her shell. She has now returned to TCR and is starting to blossom more and more with interactive play, and patience. She also responds positively to treats and food (possibly the reason that she's a bit on the plump side!).

Cosette is really wary of people and shrinks away from human touch. We know she has a fun side - she loves to play with feathers on stretchy strings and wands and she will burr if you pet her gently. She also enjoys brushing once she's used to someone. Cosette is looking for a quiet adult-only home with a human friend who is willing to help socialize her. Someone who already has a friendly cat could also help show Cosette that humans can be trusted, but no doggies please. Cosette is a work in progress, but your tender loving care will go a long way with this little lady!
