Andrew's Story...
Named "Fluffy" as a kitten for being a little ball of fluff, this handsome black cat is now known as Andrew.

Andrew is a wonderful cat, still full of life, loving both to play and to just chill. He is about 10 years old and weighs 16 lbs. - a gentle giant with a lovely coat of fur that is silky to the touch and which he loves to have brushed.

Andrew is easygoing and does well with other cats. Give him a quiet home, warm lap, catnip and a spot to lie in the sun and he will be a happy boy.

Andrew is box trained. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Andrew, a Castro Valley Turkish Angora cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Turkish Angora for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Turkish Angora cat from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Turkish Angora breeders who help with Turkish Angora rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
