Bubbles's Story...
"Are you looking for a wonderful little lap dog who promises to be your loyal friend? Well, look no further. My name is BUBBLES, and I'm an eight-year-old Chihuahua mix who fits the bill. I'm not only very cute, I'm also affectionate and cuddly. I have very soft fur, and I absolutely love to be held, so I know we'll bring each other great comfort if you'll hold me close. I'd need to be in a quiet, adult home to be at my best, and I get along well with most other dogs. You'll also be pleased to know that I've already been house trained. Another great thing about me is that I'm a "Super Senior." That means that MY ADOPTION FEE IS ONLY $30! That's a pretty good deal for a sweet little snuggle-bug like me. I'm here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter, and I'm hoping that someone who's looking for a precious cutie-pie will come along and want to take me home. Maybe that's you! Please come down to the shelter and find out. They have a really nice play yard here where we can spend some time together. I hope to see you soon. Love, Bubbles" Kennel #11

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bubbles, a El Cajon Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
