Do you love chocolate? My rescue mom does and I think that is just one of the reasons she stepped up to save me. I say one because there are oh so many.
You see, I am NOT your typical chihuahua aka Chi. I am almost a year old and 6.5 lbs but I am also the sweetest dog you will ever meet. I love all people, animals and things. I am swift on my feet, learning a leash and working on that necessary house training. I will admit, I was found running down a rural road but my humans never came looking. What's a girl to do with an open door or gate right in front of her? I "gotta be me...gotta feel the breeze..." I will admit I need a bit of "comfortable in the crate" work. I do believe I have won my foster family over to the dark side on small dogs, dark chocolate that is. Lol.
So unless your kids are really good at closing doors behind them or you have what rescue momma Beth calls redundancy, I need a bit of extra watching. A small dog safe fence preferred.
