My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jenga's story was the saddest but with the help of some great volunteers and some TLC, she's in store for a happy ending!

Jenga is our second girl rescued from the DFW area. She was severely attacked by other dogs, being used as a bait dog for dog fighting! Her wounds are all healed up and fortunately her personality never got a scratch!

She is the most adorable little girl and has a ton of love to give! Jenga LOVES to play and run but she can also be totally content just napping on the couch. She has had no potty accidents in the house or in her kennel. She has slept soundly in our bed every night and she loves the kitties and other dogs! She will steal your heart!

Jenga is spayed, current on all vaccines, heart worm negative and microchipped so she is ready to become the newest member of your family!

Our adoption process begins with you meeting Jenga. Feel free to schedule a play date with her and your existing dog(s). After you fill out an application, we will verify your references and do a brief home inspection. If all goes well, we will deliver Jenga to you for a small adoption fee. You will also have the option to purchase a large wire kennel for an additional fee. We then ask that you sign our adoption contract. We will do a follow-up visit approximately two weeks to one month after the adoption to insure that Jenga is adjusting well to her new home and that she is happy and healthy.

We feel our adoption process is the best way to vet good owners and to guard against people seeking dogs for dog fighting, bait dogs, and/or dog sales. We only have our rescue dogs' best interest in mind and we do everything we can to insure that they go to the very best home and that it's the perfect fit.
