Dixie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Dixie's Story...
Dixie is an 11 pound little girl with a typical 'big dog' attitude. She is sweet but she lets everyone know who's in charge. She is house trained, crate trained and leash trained, loves squeaky toys, treats and snuggles. Dixie would do well as an only dog or with one or two other dogs that are tolerant of her 'in charge' attitude. Our adoption fee is $125.00. Application and home visit are required, also Vet reference if you have other pets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dixie, a Normandy Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Normandy, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Normandy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Normandy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Normandy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Normandy paves the way for another one to be saved.
