My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

****ADOPTION PENDING**** My name is Charlie and I am one of the youngest 10 year olds you will ever meet. I love walks and hikes(although I'll leave the 14'ers to those silly 2 year old Labs!); I love visiting dog parks, strolling thru the neighborhood(because of course no one can resist stopping to pet my handsome self:) and love exploring the fields nearby with my foster Dad. He says I'm a really good boy and stay close by without even needing a leash on. Yup, that's me!

I like when my Foster Dad takes me for truck rides. He says I'm a great co-pilot! Sometimes I get to join him at work and I just hang out on the job, or I'll happily wait in the truck for him. Everywhere he takes me people fall in love with me, telling me how handsome and sweet I am. Yah, I know it but I don't let all that attention go to my head. I'm still pretty modest. Other days I hang out at the house with the other dogs and I even have a crush on his younger and very pretty Golden gal. I love to lay next to her....just me and her by the woodstove on these cold winter nights.

I've had a great life and was with my family since I was 8 weeks old. They took great care of me and I loved growing up with the kids. Life was grand. One day the kids grew up and moved out. Mom and Dad sold the house and moved to a smaller place. They were at work all day and I had no yard to play in, no one to keep me company, I was lonely...so they decided the best thing was for me to come to rescue.

My foster Dad is awesome and so are my furry foster siblings but I'd really love a family of my very own. I'd like a family that will have plenty of time to spend with me and I've been told I'd be an amazing therapy dog too. I have a way of knowing when someone is sick or sad and then I give them extra and very gentle attention to cheer them up.

I'm neutered, up to date on all shots and in excellent health. If you're interested in meeting me please visit the website and complete the adoption application. www.izzysplacedogrescue.com.

Thank you,
xoxoxo....Charlie the Yellow Lab
