My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

10/21/14 UPDATE: She is a sweetheart with a great temperament. She's young, healthy and
likes to play ball with her foster siblings. But she also becomes calm very
easily. She's smart and very sociable with people, and great with other
dogs. We walk loose with a pack of dogs down in the Santa Ana river bed,
with as many as 12 other dogs. The trainer that we go with is like the Dog
Whisperer. And on her first day he told me to turn her loose with the pack
about 5 minutes later which is unusually fast, he said "she will be fine",
and she was not only fine she was awesome, (stayed right with us humans and
the pack). She walks great on a leash, and is not a barker. She's crate
trained, and sleeps in the house with her foster siblings all night long in
her crate . She's been to the dog park and played well with others, even
seems fine with our horses. When I brush her she doesn't leave hair in the
brush. Only negative we see is she wants to jump on us but we are working
on that and it's getting better. She is a special little girl with lots of
love to give and she deserves a equally special home that has lots of love
to give back to her.

Vixen is a 1 year old female red and white smooth coated Border Collie with floppy ears. She is still a puppy, so she is exuberant and quite playful. She is socialized with other dogs and she really enjoys playing with her foster siblings. She appears to be leash trained. She is currently in foster care and we are getting to know her better, so please check back for updates on her.

If you are interested in meeting our dogs, please go on line and fill out an adoption application. We require a pre-approved application to be on file before any meet and greets are scheduled.
