Ruby is a beautiful and sweet Boston terrier girl. She weighs 20 lbs and she is 4 years old. Her DOB is 12/10/10. She was rescued from a “puppy mill” in Mo. She is very active, playful and just an all around good bostie to be around. Her coat is a gorgeous dark red with white markings and is shiny and soft. Ruby is somewhat shy at first with people but warms up and is ready to be friends. She likes getting belly rubs, chewing on antlers and if you will let her sleeping in the bed with you. She is still working on her housetraining manners but if her new family is home to let her outside first thing in the morning, several times during the day and right before bed time, she will continue to know that potty should be outside. She will need a home that has a fenced area for her so that she can run and play and then be ready for a nap. Ruby has shown no aggression toward anyone. She should do fine with children in the home that are 12 yrs old or older and have been accustomed to having pets and how to treat them. If you are interested in caring for and loving this sweet girl, please go towww.btralabama.org and complete an adoption application. Perspective adopters must live in AL, MS, GA, TN or northwest FL.
