From foster mom: This is a dream dog! Sonny walks around the property without leash and never leaves my side. He has a whine, a bark and a howl--but never for no reason. He's learning to sit and come already and had a bath and loved it like a massage. He wants to jump up but will stop when told. So far, cage, kennel and leash are all acceptable. Beautifully marked and gentle, willing to learn. Sonny will sit for treats...has not had a single accident...is training in the kitchen not to stand up to the counters looking for food!! Good with the cat too! No recent potty accidents, but needs to be taken out every 3 to 4 hrs in daytime. OK through the night in kennel from 10 pm to 7am. Still working on puppy stuff like jumping, tugging on leash, etc. Very loving dog and usually listens to "no". Very seldom digs, will relocate shoes but doesn't damage them. Will stay in kitchen without gates. Very calm in car. No temper or anger issues. He will hold your hand or leg in his mouth but he is not biting. Sonny is ready for his forever home with a family who will continue his training so he will be the great dog he is capable of being. Remember...he's a dream dog!
