This beautiful basset hound is Hugo, a little guy that is around 2 years old. Hugo came to us from our Newark facility in search of a great home of his own. He had a home, but was turned in because his owners just didn't have the time for him. Hugo was quite thin and sickly upon arrival but just look at him now! He's healthy, happy, and ready to go home. Hugo is a bubbly and animated little guy that loves to have fun and make new friends. He is overjoyed to go in our exercise yard and takes off running as fast as his little legs will carry him. Hugo will chase after a toy but doesn't quite get the concept yet of playing with it. He is just happy to sniff out the world around him and take a nice walk with a good friend. Hugo is well behaved and will sit nicely when asked, and walks well on a leash. He gets along well with most dogs and just adores people. This little guy is anxious to start his life over again in a great home with a good family that will love him forever and never let him go. File#23820 8/13/14
