Grey's Story...
"Mister Grey" as his foster mom calls him, is an absolutely gorgeous cat, is litter and scratching post trained, and keeps mostly to himself. He is a very big boy!!! He really enjoys sleeping next to the other foster cats and looking after the kittens. He responds well to treats and canned food, but mostly prefers to come to you, rather than being approached. If you have room in your heart to give this guy a chance, you won't regret it! If you are interested in meeting or adopting Grey, please contact the foster Allie at 419-320-6506. **Please note that you will need to meet Grey at his foster home, as he is terrified of adoption events and does not do well in scary situations.** - See more at: http://www.plannedpethood.org/cats/available.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grey, a Toledo Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Toledo, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Toledo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toledo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toledo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toledo paves the way for another one to be saved.
