Facts about Lulu

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 062110.1
  • Hair: Short
Description: Lulu is a beautifully marked Tabby with huge round eyes. Although she is a just a mixed domestic short hair, her large eyes and gorgeous fur resemble an ocecat breed. Lulu was found as a stray kitty, being fed by an elderly caretaker, and still can be shy at times. (A pet behaviorist states such kitties make healthy and wonderful cats as they are expressing their natural cat protective instincts.) Lulu loves to play with the foster kitties, and also enjoys snoozing in a sun spot or perched by the window watching the birds. Lulu loves wet food treats and this is the key to her heart. She loves to be pet and belly rubs, but is not a lap kitty. She knows lap kitties aren't for everyone and hopes to find such a human companion. Lulu was born in April of 2010. Please contact her foster at or 419-450-8581 to adopt her.

We invite you to read About Us and what makes Planned Pethood difference from many other rescues. YOu can do so here:

Our Adoption Process...

After you decide on the pet you're interested in, our adoption process begins. Please submit an application.

It will be reviewed by one of our volunteers. If certain and critical criteria is met, we will pass your application on to the foster. The foster will then contact you and make arrangements for your family to meet the dog, most likely at one of our many Adoption Events.

A home visit is also required for all of our adoptions. If you are local to the Toledo area, it will be performed by one of our volunteers. If you are long-distance, then we will need to make arrangements with a rescue group in your area. The processing of your application can take several days, so we ask for your patience.

Adoption fees depend on the specific animal.

Thank you for your interest in a rescue pet!
