Pepper's Story...
Pepper is a calm 7 year old male cat who still enjoys an excuse to play like a kitten! He is calm enough to hang out with older kids and dogs. Some of Pepper's favorite activities are: cuddling under the bedcovers, getting silly on catnip, and belly rubs. He loves to groom and wrestle with his cat foster friends (Vinnie, Violet Rose, and Steve). With a “been there, done that” attitude, Pepper is very adaptable to different environments and people. Pepper unfortunately has dry, flakey skin and sheds a lot sometimes; fish oil supplements in his food help quite a bit.

Pepper is HALF PRICE for senior adopters (over 50 years old)! If you are interested in adopting Pepper, please contact his foster, Linda M. at 419-380-2449. - See more at: http://www.plannedpethood.org/cats/available.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepper, a Toledo Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Toledo, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Toledo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toledo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toledo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toledo paves the way for another one to be saved.
