This is Rudy a 1 yr old black and white cat with cute markings. He was abandoned at the home of one of our fosters, but he was scared and wouldn't come close enough to be picked up. Finally one evening, he stood crying in the shrubs, cold and hungry, and his life changed! After a visit to the vet, he is happy and healthy. He is sweet and mellow and likes to lean on foster moms legs. He sleeps in bed and likes the other cats. He needs a loving family to bring him the rest of the way out of his shell, and provide the love he deserves. If you are interested in meeting or adopting Rudy, please contact the foster Karen L. at 419-250-7925. - See more at:

Our Adoption Process...

After you decide on the pet you're interested in, our adoption process begins. Please submit an application.

It will be reviewed by one of our volunteers. If certain and critical criteria is met, we will pass your application on to the foster. The foster will then contact you and make arrangements for your family to meet the dog, most likely at one of our many Adoption Events.

A home visit is also required for all of our adoptions. If you are local to the Toledo area, it will be performed by one of our volunteers. If you are long-distance, then we will need to make arrangements with a rescue group in your area. The processing of your application can take several days, so we ask for your patience.

Adoption fees depend on the specific animal.

Thank you for your interest in a rescue pet!
