Suria's Story...
COOL CAT OF THE DAY~ SURIA
This gorgeous young lady is Suria, a black beauty that is a little over 3 years old and so ready for a great home of her own. Suria has yet to experience what it's like to be in a home, since she came to us when she was less than 8 weeks old. Suria came to us in August of 2011 when she was a lone kitten found in a trap. Once she was big enough and healthy enough, she was spayed and made available for adoption, and we just can't understand why she was overlooked not just when she was a kitten, but for all these years. Suria is an absolute doll that is outgoing, friendly, and an all-around great little gal. She stays in our free-roaming area and spends her days socializing with other cats and snoozing in the sun. Suria gets along just great with everyone she meets......cats and people alike. She would transition easily into a home and be overjoyed to have a loving family to be a part of. Please come in and meet our sweet Suria and give her the great life that she's dreaming of. File#20778 8/22/11

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Suria, a Forked River Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
