Gianni's Story...
Foster Home Needed for at least a couple of weeks for Gianni, the handsome beagle! His current foster is going on vacation and we need a spot for Gianni to stay. Gianni is a beagle mix boy that was on the kill list at a high kill shelter in Missouri a few weeks ago when we saved him. He's about 4 years old, up to date on vaccinations and weighs about 25 lbs. Gianni did test heart worm positive when we rescued him so he has started the treatment process. He needs to take it easy and take his medicine but other than that he's great.

Please consider fostering Gianni short term or long term or he is available to foster to adopt with the adoption being completed at the end of his heart worm treatment.

If you are interested in Gianni, you may fill out an application at www.beaglesandmore.info or email beaglesandmore@yahoo.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gianni, a Overland Park Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
