Rocky's Story...
Please visit our main website at www.boxer-rescue-la.com for most recent list of available Boxers and to fill out an adoption application. Due to the volume of inquiries our volunteers receive we are unable to reply to inquiries without a completed adoption application.

Rocky and Bella were brought home from a breeder as puppies. They have always lived together, love living together and we want them to stay together. This beautiful pair of Boxers are happy playful dogs. Their owners just move into new home and have new baby. Baby is taking up so much time and new home has Rocky and Bella spending less time inside with family. They love to play but owners felt inside play was not conducive with little baby in the house so they started keeping outside. Owners know these two deserve better and want an active loving family for them. Rocky and Bella go to day care and have been boarded at cage free facilities enjoying the company of other dogs. They are housebroken and just need a new house and family to call their own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Encino Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Encino, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
