Paolo's Story...
I'm a little guy that likes to enjoy life! There are so many wonderful smells around. I don't know what to sniff first! If you are going to compete with my since of smell, you've got to work hard for my attention. I have an independent spirit and go-go attitude. Yeah, I like to keep active. I'm very playful and really enjoy toys--perhaps a bit too much. Since I don't like to share my toys, I am recommended for homes with children over 12 years of age. I do like the company of other dogs, but I have a very rambunctious play style. Therefore, if you have other dogs at home, bring them down to meet me so we can make sure they can keep up! If you are energetic and have a happy-go-lucky spirit, you just might be the match for me. Let's get together today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paolo, a Harrisonburg Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
