Founded in June, 2000, Georgetown Animal Outreach, (GAO) is a non-profit (I.R.S. sec. 501,c,3) volunteer group located in Georgetown, Texas. Our mission is to support and enhance the services provided by the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter and other local organizations dedicated to the welfare of animals.
The GAO Adoption Application process helps us determine which pets will be the most compatible with your family and lifestyle. The animal's welfare is our primary consideration when placing it into a home so some applicants may be refused if we feel the home is not well suited for the animal.
