CALLIE's Story...
Callie was rescued from a kill shelter when full-term pregnant. She was in grave danger or being killed due to an overcrowded shelter. Dolly's Legacy rescued her just in time, she delivered 4 kittens just 24 hrs after arriving at her foster home. Callie is a young mommy, likely still a kitten herself. She has a beautiful calico coat & is just so pretty. Sadly two of her babies didn't survive after coming down with a respiratory illness carried over from her time in the shelter. She still has her precious kittens, Shadow & Sassy, little bundles of love. All three are sweet little purr machines who love to be cuddled. Mommy Callie is as sweet as can be and wins over the hearts of everyone she meets. Please give this beautiful mommy cat a forever home.

Adoption fee for Callie is $75. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated & ready for a family! For adoption policies and to submit an online adoption application please go to our website at this link: http://dollyslegacyanimalrescue.org/adopt/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CALLIE, a Lincoln Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
