Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Hi, my name is JJ, and I am looking for an extra special family who will love me forever and ever. I was left at a shelter because my humans had a baby and had no room for me in their lives anymore. My foster mom wants to make sure that I go to a home that views me as a family member, and not as an expendable thing with no feelings to be thrown away.
Right now I am in a foster home with 4 other dogs (2 big and 2 small), and I love to play with them. I would be happiest having a canine playmate as I am very social, but if there is not a canine friend, then I would love a family that would include me on fun activities such as hiking, jogging, swimming and going to the park. I also have a human foster sister who is 8 years old, and I love to go upstairs and help tuck her in for the night. Then I go into my crate without protest and sleep all night long. I am housetrained, know some commands such as sit and down, and am very smart and treat motivated, which makes me very trainable.
My foster family believes me to be a Lab/Golden Retriever mix, and my approximate birthday is July 2012. I am about 60 pounds of sweetness. My foster mom swears I must be part cat, as I love to rub up against her legs to initiate a good back rub, but I shouldn't go to a home with cats, as I am very interested in chasing them.
If you look into my eyes, I am very expressive and try to communicate with just a look. I would love a human who will connect with me and listen, love and make me a part of their lives. Could it be you?"
