Hi, I'm Ellie!!
Yes, I'm an English bulldog!! Just because I'm on the petite side doesn't mean I don't have that bully attitude! I'm a small middle-age gal looking for a patient and friendly home. I'm a shy girl due to my background but once I'm comfortable, I can be as mischievous as the rest of them! My foster mom says there isn't a baby gate I can't get through! What can I say?... I love to play, especially with other dogs! I would love another dog in my forever home! You see, I had a rough start and I like another dog there to show me the ropes. About my background, well, I just don't like to talk about it...I've left that in the past. I do know that after being breed I was dumped in the backyard of a stranger! Can you believe it!! Out in the cold and rain! It was for the best though, since that man called CEBR and it's been clear sailing since then! I've learned to trust humans and be part of a household. I have a clean bill of health except for a small ear infection and possibly some mild allergies. I'm still working on walking on a leash but I'll get there. For now, I do my business in the yard with my foster brother. I have the occasional accident, but I'm improving. I just learned my name and the stairs yesterday! My mom says I'm a smart gal and a quick learner!! Well heck, I knew that! I just needed the right opportunity. About my forever home, I definitely would like a fur sibling! Older human siblings are ok as well, but I don't like to be overwhelmed with younger kids. I can get scared, so a calm environment would be best. I need a home that can train me on the basics since I missed that growing up. An obedience class would be great, since I like learning from other dogs. Other than that I just need love and snuggles...well and a few treats here and there! Not too much to ask for!!
