My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Darta
Sex: Female
Breed: Lab/Pointer mix
Age: 1 year
Weight: ~50 pounds
Good with: **Adults & older Children** Dogs***Not good with cats**

Darta hails from a high kill shelter in GA, she is in local foster care here in Massachusetts so available for a meet & greet. She has graduated from a local training program and is ready for a forever home! Here's what we know... Darta is a friendly girl who loves to play! She would love an active family or a home with another dog or two for playtime! She is high energy so Doggy day care is recommended if she is adopted to a family as their only dog. She is a very social girl and this playtime is important for her well being. We want to share that when she plays she's very vocal! She'll playfully bark and growl but it is in play, she will not bite, though it sounds like she's serious - she is playing. She is house trained and crate trained, walks easy on leash and knows her basic commands. She has good manners! All around she is a great pup, someone is going to be very lucky to have such a loyal, smart dog!
