Brother Bear is a chill, laid-back boy who was dumped in the woods in rural Arkansas as a puppy, along with his brother Moonshine. With his gentle temperament, he is like a real-life stuffed animal ready for cuddling and lots of love, but before he can accept all that attention, Brother Bear needs to warm up, and that's why we are looking for a very special home for this golden boy where nurturing, patience and lots of love are in endless supply. Brother Bear's main caregiver has been a woman, which is why women are so easy for him to trust, but with men he takes a little time. He's gotten so much better, but we would expect that men in the home would take him a couple of days to get used to. Once he trusts, he is fine; in fact, he lives with a man in his current foster home. Bear is generally a very happy, very friendly and very affectionate little boy who LOVES playing with anyone who will have him!! He walks well on a leash and he loves car rides, so he'll be a great companion to take anywhere you go. But sometimes Bear seems startled by sudden strange noises and new things even new toys. He's one of those dogs who just needs the reassurance that everything is okay. Bear will be so appreciative for a loving, patient, and experienced home who can continue to reassure him that his new life has begun and that it will keep getting better. (He's been fine with visiting children but he will be best in a quieter home.) We know Brother Bear is all too happy to put his past behind him as well. Brother Bear is about 6- 7 months old, he weighs 40 pounds and he is a healthy boy. If you have the patience and love in your heart to help this boy live life to the fullest, please visit www.pinkshelter.com for more information about the adoption process or click here for our online application. Full vetting AND neuter included in his $350 adoption fee. Brother Bear is in Arkansas and transport fee is additional $140. IF YOU HAVE AOL or YAHOO PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FILE FOR OUR RESPONSE.
