My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tessa is a 10 month old female Cockapoo. She was brought in to animal control as a stray. At that time, she had an ingrown/embedded collar and was started on antibiotics for the skin infection caused by the wound. It has healed up now, and Tessa is living in a foster home in Atlanta.

She has a really thick coat which was densely matted all over her body. She was remarkably patient as we clipped at her coat, trying to avoid a total shave-down as winter approaches. In the process of grooming her, we also discovered three puncture wounds on her side. They appear to be animal bites. Tessa is taking medicine to help those wounds heal up.

Ok, so that's the basic stuff. This pup is outstandingly friendly and outgoing. She is spunky, loving and reserved at the same time. Tessa loves squeaky soft toys, and snuggling on the sofa. Happy and content describes Tessa to a "T".
