found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
& on the 20th of September it was my turn!!! A volunteer from CAA Rescue came to pick me up as soon as the pound doors opened, I don’t know what the heck took them so long but boy oh boy was I happy to see him! I was in the car and before I knew it I was at my foster mummy’s home. What a lovely family!!! I am so happy to be with them and I felt really guilty for getting sick so soon after I was rescued. I made my foster mummy worry something fierce for a few days but eventually I got better. Being a 10 year old man it does take me a little extra time to bounce back from infections.
I did go see the vet 2 days after my rescue when I was not feeling so hot and they gave me all kinds of meds that eventually made me feel better especially the meds for my ears. If you consider adopting me please keep in mind that you will have to keep my ears clean … think about how often you clean yours. Now think about me with my floppy hairy ears! If the water gets in there and stays in there coupled with dirt well then a new infection is born. I can tell you my last one was bad enough so I am really not interested in having another one. Regular maintenance and grooming will keep these bad little annoying things at bay!
My foster mummy says I am the smartest little boy who only wants the company of humans. I have had no accidents in the home whatsoever – I am extremely polite and ask for the door. I love attention and to get hugs and snuggles. Rolling in the grass is so much fun for me! The freedom of the white doggie rolling on the green grass is priceless and I make my foster mummy laugh!
I do live with another doggie and am friendly with everyone I meet … even the vet!!! Bet you cannot say that about all the dogs you know ;)
And while I am 10 years old I still have a lot of life and love in me. I know my family tossed me aside saying they had no more time for me but what they really meant was that I was getting too old for them. I am a 18lbs senior but I still have many years left in me and I would love to live them out with my real and true forever best friend. I know that you are out there and when I find you we will be sad that it took this long to find each other but I know that together we will enjoy every minute for always.
I am still lively and spirited with good energy and lots of love to give. I am a super smart boy and adjust so well to new places and people. I just love everything! I am also super smart because I catch onto the house rules very fast; you only have to show me once
If you are the person I have been waiting 10 long years for please write to email@example.com and ask them for an application so we can meet. While I love my foster home I know it is not my forever home and I cannot wait to start pawing the new chapter of my life with me by your side
