My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy is a very kind and good natured Beagle and would be a great addition to any home! She is friendly and affectionate with everyone. She would be fine with children and another friendly dog would be okay too. She is just a sweet, sweet girl who loves to be loved and who will make a wonderful family companion. Daisy is approximately 3 years old and currently weighs approximately 25 lbs.

Here is what else her foster family had to say:

Daisy is a very quiet, loving and friendly dog. She is friendly to everyone that she meets and everyone falls in love with her instantly! She is a very calm and laid back girl and she is just so well behaved. She does have moderate energy though and enjoys a good walk each day.

Daisy is friendly with everyone including the few children we have met on walks. She is very quiet! She hasn't barked once since coming into my home (although occasionally whines). Isn't what I was expecting from a beagle at all!

She will sit near whoever is eating and sometimes sits on the couch when she thinks no one is looking (she's not allowed on the couches). She hasn't chewed anything she shouldn't. She is in the learning stages of "sit" and "lie down". She responds well to come and also pointing where you want her to go.

She is house trained. I have not used the crate since the first couple of days, when she was left there for about 3 hours but she does not need to be crated. Daisy is very good on the leash, although she sometimes pulls. And if she sees a squirrel, you better be holding on tight! She is a Beagle so of course she should never be let off leash in an open area where she might follow her nose.

I can't think of any home that wouldn't be good for her - as long as the family is willing to take her out for enough walks and show her enough love. She does like to play, so maybe a family with young children would be good.

If you would like to make Daisy a part of your family, please submit an application for consideration.
