I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Are you looking for the best little Heinz 57 all-American mutt for your new best friend and family member? Look no further than our new boy, Duff! We are not sure what breeds he is, but German Shepherd and maybe a bit of Pug are about the best we can come up with. This sweet guy is new to our program and fit into his foster home quickly and effortlessly. He is a loving, happy dog that can be a bit shy at first. He adores other dogs and is getting on well with the cat in his foster home. He is crate trained, knows sit, and comes on command. He is super smart and will excel at training and being a devoted best friend. He is just under a year old and is about 35 pounds, so the perfect size for all of your adventures. Duff came from a local animal control where he and his siblings were all abandoned. They came from a horrible, neglectful situation and the whole litter had mange and ring worm. Poor Duff seemed to be more infected than his siblings so was not able to be up for adoption. While Duff was recuperating, the rest of the litter all found loving homes. Now it is his turn to find his family! We are happy to report Duff is healthy and all healed and will require no special care. He has waited a long time and has been nothing but patient, loving and sweet. To find out more info on Duff and fill out our required application (found at www.animalheartline.org), call volunteer Jen at (630) 205-1701.
We are a small group of caring volunteer, and a home visit is requirement of adoption, therefore local adoptions only please (within 50 miles of Naperville/ Chicago).
