Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I'm Joe Pepper, a 5 year old smaller beagle boy! My elderly owner was unable to care for me, so I was surrendered to the Western AZ Humane Society. These nice people picked me up from the Humane Society and took me to their house for a few days. I got to meet their beagle, and then we got in the car and drove for a long time. Another nice family introduced me to their dogs, and we went to their house. I am settled in with my foster family, eagerly waiting my fur-ever home. My foster family says I'm a pretty chill character. I don't bark much (isn't that un-beagle like?), I'm well behaved, lovable, and sweet. I am food motivated, but what beagle isn't? I will try to talk you into a few extra cookies a day. I love playing with my toys, and I do retrieve a ball if you really want me to. But, I'm also content to lay on the couch and catch up on my beauty sleep. When I see you go towards the cookie jar, I will even dance around for you like a ballerina! Now that's not a trick that just any old dog can do.... Come meet me! I promise, it'll be worth your while, and I bet you can't but help falling in love with me.
