My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Pepper and I am a 12 year old female African Senegal Parrot. I came into foster care because my mom had to have surgery and could not care for me anymore. I love to have my head scritched but I am picky about who I allow to scratch it - I have to give you the sign first. I love being in the center of the action but can also sit on the sidelines and watch. I am very quiet and only give an alert call when I sense danger outside or someone turns the shower on. I do not talk, although I used to until my mom brought home more birds and did not give me all her attention. My foster family has two small dogs and I have learned to be comfortable around them, although the best family would be one with no other pets. I really like being spoiled and I love most fruit and my pellets, and of course my millet and almonds. I eat really well although I do not necessarily like my vegetables, so maybe I am like a spoiled child, but my foster dad says he is going to work on that with me. Please consider letting me into your flock forever, I promise you won't be sorry!
