I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.
Toledo is a 2 year old Treeing Walker & Bluetick Coonhound. He likes car rides and long walks where he can see new sights and smell new smells. As far as other animals go, his main focus is squirrels and chipmunks. He's somewhat stubborn once he does find a scent that catches his interest. He is good with other dogs, but if you have another dog that is also dominant, it will take a little bit of work before he acclimates himself. At first you may find him being possessive about food and bones/toys around other dogs, again though, with a little bit of effort on your part he is able to acclimate himself accordingly. Toledo is very attentive and smart, he is eager to obey commands and earn the affection of his companion, but keep in mind that he is a hound dog and is also accordingly stubborn. He is a great friend and likes to cuddle at night. Basically, Toledo just wants a buddy, and will do best with someone who is also looking for a buddy. He will attach himself quickly, so if you do have other dogs, expect Toledo to try and be first in everything so as to earn the affection of his owner. That's all he really wants, besides pig bones! This was written by Toledo's loving foster dad.
Toledo is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting Toledo, please call Friendship at 440-322-4321 to set up a time to meet him.
