Whoa, hey – oh hi! Sorry I didn’t see you there, I was busy trying to get someone to play with me. My name is Johnny, what is your name? It sure is nice to meet you and make new friends. You may have seen my story in rescue, that I was covered in burs and all sorts of yucky stuff. Now that I’m all vetted and groomed, I’m feeling pretty good. It is a bit chilly out though, I’d really like a warm lap to lay in of my own.
In case you wanted to know a little more about me, they tell me I am a pocket sized poodle mix, but I’m pretty sure I’m a big dog trapped in a little body. I like to let everybody know what is going on, and I can be quite the “talker”. When you are this little, you have to do what you can to get attention. Play time is super important to me, and I love to instigate chasing and hide n’ seek with my foster dog friends. I’m also quite the little lover, and have lots of affection to give. Lately, I’ve been working on potty training and am getting better every day! Oh, did I mention I like play time? Maybe I did…but I should mention it again because I just loooooove attention, ha!

My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, De-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food.

You can fill out a simple online adoption application at www.nbsar.org and we will start processing your application right away! We do require that persons interested in meeting me apply online and be approved as an adopter first so please visit our website and submit your application today!
Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on it's vaccinations and heartworm preventative as well as spayed/neutered unless there is a documented medical reason on file with your veterinarian. Dogs must be current on DHLPP, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative, cats must be current on Distemper, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative at the time of application.
