Rose is a feisty little red girl who will steal your heart and and will be a faithful and loving companion once she settles in with her forever family. Rose spent much of her early life in kennels. Since she has been in foster care, her personality has blossomed like the flower whose name she shares. She is a very good guard dog. She is also a cuddle-bug. If you don't mind having 65 lbs of licky dog on your lap, she will contentedly fall asleep on her back with her legs in the air. She is 90% housebroken and will sleep in her crate although she much prefers to curl up on a comfy dog-bed. What she really loves is being with her human and dog companions - she enjoys sleeping snugly next to her foster-brother, Beckett the Labrador. She plays well with dogs she knows and trusts, but she can get over-excited in tussling and will need supervision at first. She loves to play with a tug rope, a hide roll, or a chewy toy. Come meet this loving girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rose, a Dallas American Staffordshire Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Dallas, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
