My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beautiful, brindled Thorpe grew up in the Baton Rouge animal shelter. He was taken there as a little puppy, he is now about 8 months old. Our rescue pulled him from the shelter & he is in foster care enjoying life outside of the shelter!

He weighs about 32 lbs, good with kids, dogs, and he doesn't chase cats. Thorpe LOVES going to the dog park, to play fetch, swimming, going for walks, & adores a good chewing bone. He is house trained and sleeps in his kennel at night.

Thorpe's ideal home would be a more active household that would be able to enjoy daily walks with him. Since he is so playful, a house with kids around 10 years and up would be ideal. Having a companion dog to play with his new home would also be perfect for him as he loves to play so much with his foster doggy sister all day long? Thorpe is also attending basic obedience classes with his foster dad so that he can add more tricks to his hat! He is a quick learner & already knows "sit" & "stay"!. Please contact his foster dad at (225) 573-3146

All dogs adopted through Friends of the Animals are current on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed or neutered prior to adoption. For more information about FOTA or to make a donation, please visit http://www.friendsoftheanimalsbr.org/.
