My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sydney is a 2-3 month old Labrador mix. She weighs about 9 pounds. She is just a LOVE BUG. She loves to snuggle and loves to play. She was rescued along with her 3 siblings. She has the cutest docked tail and will be big. She is working on her potty skills and is doing great ! Sydney is ready for her forever home.

If you are interested in giving Sydney a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly with questions about the dogs at 901-651-6322 or Angela with questions about adoptions at 203-909-8861.

Sydney's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the spaying, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, certificate of health and transportation fee. Sydney is living with a foster family in Tennessee. She will travel to her new family by professional pet transport once she has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to the Chicago / Milwaukee areas.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home
