Montana's Story...
Montana is a 8 month old chihuahua mix.

Montana is ready to find that special home. She will need someone who will understand her. She does bark at people she doesnt know but she is very food motivated so if you give her a couple treats she will be your best friend. She loves other dogs, loves to play and run, loves to play with toys, and loves to sleep with you.

She does like to stay by you when you walk around the house and loves to sit on your lap. She will need time to warm up to men but she does seem to cling to one person. it took about 30 minutes for her to bond with me when coming off transport, A meet and greet with Montana will be a little different as she may be a little standoffish at first so an adopter with patience is best. We are working on potty training she is doing well and she does go on pads.

She likes to play but can be a little rough with mouthing is she gets to playful, we are teaching "easy" .Montana can be a little fearful with people she doesnt know so she will bark and growl at them until she is comfortable.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Montana, a Hollis Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Hollis, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Hollis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hollis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hollis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hollis paves the way for another one to be saved.
