Hello. Are you a forever family? My foster mom keeps talking about you. She says you are gonna love me and take care of me and teach me how to be your dog. I'd like that. Do you have any other dogs? I like to play with dogs. Little dogs are kinda tricky, because I'm learning how to play like a big girl. My foster mom says I'm still growing up. I weighed almost 45 pounds last week. She calls me a wiggly China Bull. I like it - she talks to me and pats my head, scratches my super tall ears and says I'm a good girl. I like going for car rides and walks. I'm really strong, and still growing, so I'm still learning how to pay attention. The world is so big and there's so much to do!

From Baby's AAT foster mom:
We think that Baby is an Australian Cattle Dog/American Bulldog mix (her ears and small body give her Aussie, those forehead wrinkles and short nose, Bully). She was born around February 2014, coming off of the streets as a flea-covered, starving stray. She has been vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. She's very comfortable in her crate when it's bedtime or when she can't be supervised. She plays well with her foster pack and has adjusted easily to life with a family and a schedule. She is a super sweet, curious about the world and ready to be your forever girl. Please fill out an application for BABY, today at http://www.animalalliesoftexas.org/adoption-application/!

About Animal Allies of Texas

About Our Rescue Group...

Animal Allies of Texas is a 501(c)(3) animal advocacy/rescue organization, dedicated to improving the quality of life in our community. Our goal is to build a no-kill shelter on enough land to house not only "adoptable" animals, but "treatable" ones as well - those who need medical care or behavior modification to become adoptable. While working toward this goal, we will also engage in community service and humane education projects to help bring about "humanity championed by thought."

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoption events at one or more locations every week end. Please check the calendar on our web site www.animalalliesoftexas.org for specific locations and times.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters must submit an application, either online via our web site www.animalalliesoftexas.org or a paper application at an adoption event. General requirements for adoption: You must live in the DFW/Ft. Worth/North Texas area - we do not adopt outside this area. Dogs must be primarily inside, and cats must be totally inside. Cats must not be declawed. All pets must be spayed/neutered if this has not been done prior to adoption. Adopter must agree to a home visit prior to adoption. Adopter MUST agree to return pet to AAT if he/she can no longer keep the pet or if AAT deems it to be in the best interest of the pet. An adoption agreement detailing these and other requirements must be signed to finalize adoption. Current fees are: puppies (under 6 months)-$200, dogs-$175; kittens (under 6 months)-$125, cats-$110. This covers all vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchipping.
