My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Meade, an energetic, 3-year-old Heeler-Catahoula mix, who recently weighed in at a very compact 40 pounds. Meade is alert to her surroundings, loves walking on leash, and plays well with other dogs. She is a quick learner and enjoys the company of everyone (human and canine) and she is as content being outside on a sunny day as she is lounging on the couch when the skies are gray. This clever, little go-getter is already learning basic commands, knows how to use a doggie door, and best of all, she is totally house trained, too! Meade would be a perfect choice for someone seeking a playmate for their resident dog, but she would do equally well as an only dog. If you are interested in meeting or adopting Meade please call her foster dad at (225) 620-6018 or email him at dexter.s.us.2001@gmail.com.

All dogs adopted through Friends of the Animals are current on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed or neutered prior to adoption. For more information about FOTA or to make a donation, please visit http://www.friendsoftheanimalsbr.org/.
