My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We think Snow's foster mom described this exceptional 2 - 3 year old gorgeous Poodle to perfection -- Snow is so, so, so, SWEET! Not a mean bone in her body. She was a bit insecure when I first met her which is completely understandable...she was in a high-kill shelter after being used only for her amazing beauty...her emotional well-being was never considered. Snow apparently wasn't able to reproduce as was hoped and therefore served no further use...euthanasia was the obvious answer to opportunistic breeders. It was Snow's great fortune that a Farfel's rescuer heard of her and saved her life.
Snow is a 2.5 - 3 yr. old, 17 lb miniature poodle. Living in a cage for over a year solely to reproduce (never seeing the sun, smelling the outdoors or experiencing human kindness) was the story of Snow's sad early life. When it became clear that Snow had an endearing personality and great behavior, arrangements were made for her transport to Colorado and a new and wonderful life. Snow is now being fostered in Denver while she waits patiently for her special home. She's getting more secure each day and snuggles like a love bug, loves to play, walks on a leash nicely, rides in the car, goes to the dog park, and walks into PetSmart with great self-esteem! Snow is true to her breed...so very smart without any aggression.
My attached picture doesn't do Snow justice at all...she is far more gorgeous (both inside and out) than the camera picks up. I'll be posting more and better photos of Snow shortly.
Snow needs and deserves a loving home - someone with patience and energy (perhaps group training class or meet-ups for Snow to interact with other small dogs) would be a gift to this girl who has all the potential in the world. She would love being someone's sweet lap dog and best friend!
Snow is a non-shedding pup (said to be the most hypoallergenic of breeds) with a gorgeous, cotton-like coat. She will therefore require periodic grooming and great nutrition to keep her cotton-soft coat healthy and matt-free.
Snow will be arriving on transport in Denver on 10/10. If interested in this fun-loving and very sweet companion, please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com.
