Suzanne's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, and up to date with shots.

Suzanne's Story...
I would like to introduce everyone to Suzanne – a little girl about ten years old who is blind and deaf. Her eyes are covered with cataracts and she hears very little but has so much to give to the right home. She walks very well on lead, seems to be totally house trained, has the loveliest face and the sweetest disposition. She is on thyroid medication and needs to lose a few pounds, but this does not stop her. She is adorable, so if you have a place in your home and your heart for this lovely little lady, please contact us and we will make arrangements to have you meet her.

Suzanne is in Orange County. Adopters from Southern California are especially encouraged to apply. To sponsor her, please make a donation on our website or email us for more information. To apply for adoption, please fill out our online application so the appropriate volunteer can get back to you asap.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Suzanne, a La Habra Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in La Habra, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog from a breeder in La Habra.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Habra already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Habra breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Habra paves the way for another one to be saved.
