My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Olivia is a 2 year old, spayed female, sheltie mix. She is a sweet, happy little dog who gets the zoomies when you come home from a hard day at work. She calms quickly and will then find a quiet corner to lay down. At night she hangs out in her crate or under the bed. She behaves well in the car and on a leash. Occasionally, on a longer walk she gets tired puts on the “brakes”, nothing will move her for a minute or so until she rests up. She is getting better with regular walks. She gets along well with other dogs and is housetrained. She’s not protective of her food and doesn’t take food from any of the other dogs. She can and will climb over a 3-4 foot gate/fence therefore a secure high fence is needed for her to be safe. She prefers to do her business while on a walk and would benefit from one every day.

Olivia is in Los Angeles County. Adopters from Southern California are especially encouraged to apply. To sponsor her, please make a donation on our website or email us for more information. To apply for adoption, please fill out our online application so the appropriate volunteer can get back to you asap.
