My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Prince is a confident, outgoing, huge, strong, energetic cat who needs a lot of stimulus and exercise. Before coming to live with his current fosterer, Prince was mainly confined to a bedroom; now that he has more space, he gallops from room to room, joyously leaping and prancing, delighting in his freedom and athletic grace. Not a bit shy, Prince will confidently approach a human and head-butt him or her to demand to be petted. He has wonderfully soft fur and loves being stroked. Although very affectionate, he is not a “lap cat,” (at least not at his current young age of 1 year), as Prince enjoys running, tumbling, and exploring too much to hold still for very long! He does, however, gallantly serve as an ankle-warmer at night, when given the chance. Prince likes to be at the center of everything and follows his fosterer from room to room, all the while pouncing on dust mites, peering out windows, and investigating the contents of high shelves.

Prince would probably enjoy a busy household – either one with lots of human activity/presence or other animal companions. Although he does not have experience with dogs, his fosterer thinks he is the confident sort of cat who would probably rapidly adjust to living with a dog. He would likely also enjoy having other cat buddies, although he might pester them (his previous caretaker said the reason for his confinement to a bedroom was that he pestered an older, more sedate cat who lived in the house). Prince does have a habit of giving overly strong love-nips, and also sometimes trying to play rough-house with his human companions, so he is probably not well-suited for a home with very young children. He is a handsome, affectionate, outgoing, confident, lively boy who will be a great pet.
