Pit Bull Terrier Mix Dog for adoption in Chicago, Illinois - Ballerina

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Ballerina's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Ballerina's Story...
Big fan of: Playing with other dogs, taking long walks, working on training for treats, snuggling on the couch, exploring the city, playing fetch.

Not a fan of: Ballerina can sometimes be protective of her family and home towards strangers. She also can get over excited on walks when she sees other dogs.

A little more: This gorgeous girl arrived at PAWS after being found as a stray. She is very loving and loyal to her humans. She has begun working on training and is already making a lot of progress with her manners! Ballerina can often be seen wrestling or snuggling with her dog roommates and has quickly made herself a volunteer and staff favorite at PAWS!

Dream home: Ballerina is seeking a home with children 15 and older and a family that is dog savvy and has an interest in training.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ballerina, a Chicago Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
