MEET COFFEE BEAN:
This little cutie is ready for her new journey in finding her forever home! Little Miss COFFEE BEAN is a 14 pound, 7 year old social bug and LOVES people! She's healthy, up to date on her vaccinations and spayed. This perfect little girl needs a new home because the owner's son has gone away to college and the owner's health precludes her from caring for properly. In addition, work commitments leave COFFEE BEAN alone during the day.
COFFEE BEAN is healthy and has never been ill. She is good on a leash and is crate trained. She is not good with cats but she is ok with other dogs. COFFEE BEAN is mostly potty trained though sometimes has accidents in the house, often when she is lonely. Like most Dachshunds, COFFEE BEAN can bark a bit at times, but mostly when she sees a squirrel she'd like to chase!

ODR, INC. ADOPTION CRITERIA (aka Our Fine Print):
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and children need to be 10 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). We prefer non smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc) Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these issues.
